1. Discovery

The secret to a high performing website is all in the planning. That’s why we like to take time up-front to plan how your website works. We ask a lot of questions so that we can fully understand your brand, products and services, goals and the type of experiences you are trying to create for your customers. We use this information to plan your website’s look and feel, messaging and the overall experience people have when interacting with your brand online.

2. Website Wireframe & Site Architecture

Before we start building your website, we'll create your website architecture plan (an overview of all the pages on your website and how they will connect together) and website wireframes (skeletal outlines of how your main website pages will be structured and the type of content that might be included on each page).

3. Website Design & Development

Most agencies will use a designer to create your website design as a static image, before handing it to a front end developer to turn that static design into an interactive website. But, designing an interactive website is very different to designing a static image, and sometimes the end product isn’t quite what the designer envisioned.

We think that design and development decisions need to be made in tandem, because they both contribute to the overall onsite experience for your customers. This is why we design and develop our websites at the same time. It means we have the ability to try new ideas and be creative, because we can tell real-time what’s working and what’s not. It also means that instead of sending you a static design to approve, we’ll send you an interactive website to play with and provide feedback on, so you don’t have to use your imagination to see how your customers will experience your website. We believe this is a better, more efficient way to build websites.

4. Third Party Integrations

Your website needs to sit at the heart of your marketing strategy and play nicely with other software you use day to day, such as email marketing systems, CRMs and audience monitoring tools. Connecting your website to your other marketing tools is not only a huge timesaver, it also contributes to a better brand experience for your customers. If you have software that needs to integrate with your website, this is when we’ll do it, but please let us know up-front what needs to be connected so we can include it in our scope of work.

5. Cross-browser Testing & Mobile Responsiveness

Before we hand over the reigns, we test all of our websites to ensure they work perfectly on a range of devices (mobiles, tablets, laptops and desktops) as well as in the latest versions of major browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox and Safari).

6. Training, Launch & Support

Before we clink glasses and pat ourselves on the back, we we’ll show you how to use your new website. We highly recommend updating your website regularly to keep your content fresh and we want you feel confident in using it when you need to.
